The course is not just a pasta cooking class, but is a complete “family experience” that seeks to replicate what we learned and grew up with in Italy.

Holidays and in some families even every Sunday, Italian grandmothers and mothers are still today involving others family members to cook together what they are going to eat, and fresh pasta is very popular almost in every family.

They make pasta together, they decide how to season it or if this time is a good time for a more complicate stuffed pasta dishes such as Tortelli or Ravioli, then they cook all of these things and eat all together chatting and enjoying that good time.

At Minnesitaly we would like to share this amazing, creative and inclusive experience with you and your family, with you and your friends or with everyone you would like to…

– Ingredients and tools
– All about flour
– Making the Pasta dough

– Cuts and shapes
– Coking timing and conservation

You’ll eat what you’ll cook!

Usually pasta is an ingredient, you have to cook it with one of the many possible techniques, the most common is boiled, then you season it and the game is done. Making fresh pasta, on the other hand, is an incredible experience because it transforms pasta from an ingredient into a preparation and only after then comes the rest.

I live in Rochester, Minnesota, and currently working at Minnesitaly. I also hold some group fitness classes at the Rochester Athletic Club.
